PiTeM is designed to perform direct temperature monitoring from the pistons of diesel/gas/HFO engines using a wireless and battery-free sensor node powered by energy harvesting. The system transmits data to the main control panel via BLE and creates a preventive, informative, and protective early warning system aimed at reducing piston failures in diesel engines.
